Why Sizeless?

Regular shoes come in fixed sizes, but children’s feet are constantly growing, often very quickly. As a result, shoes often become too small shortly after being purchased.

Parents are then faced with a choice: keep buying new shoes or compromise on fit and comfort. Common phrases like “You’ll grow into them” or “They need to last until winter” are neither child-friendly nor healthy. The alternative, buying multiple pairs, is expensive and far from sustainable.

We want to change that. Properly fitting shoes should be the standard, without the need for constant replacements just because a foot has grown a few millimeters. Our shoe is continuously size-adjustable, flexible, and produced in Europe. That’s why the Sizeless shoe is the better choice.

How much is the shoe adjustable?

The shoe can be adjusted by 8 mm, which is more than one additional shoe size (approx. 6.6 mm). This significantly extends the period of use. The idea is that one Sizeless shoe can accompany a child from spring through autumn, always fitting optimally.

When will the shoes be available?

We will launch our Kickstarter campaign in March 2026 to finance production. After manufacturing in Portugal, and if everything goes as planned, the first shoes will be shipped in June/July 2026.

Is the shoe also adjustable in width?

The shoe is primarily adjustable in length, as children’s feet grow most in that direction. Of course, feet also grow wider, but studies show that width growth is significantly less pronounced than length growth. Thanks to the naturally wide toe box, the flexible upper material, and the size-adjustment system that involves the entire toe box, growing feet still have plenty of room. Children with higher or lower insteps can also adjust the shoe individually using the Velcro straps on the upper.

How does the size adjustment work?

The shoe is adjusted using two straps on the outside. These either lift the flexible sole slightly or release it downward. This targeted adjustment of the toe box makes the shoe overall larger or smaller, both externally and internally. Parents can create more or less space inside the shoe and adjust the size individually.
