Our Approach
Our sustainability approach focuses on extending the lifespan of children's shoes. A shoe that fits across two sizes allows us to halve the CO₂ footprint per size.
Shoes that fit longer must also withstand the demands of everyday life – that's why we develop more durable products and create sustainability through greater longevity.

September 2025 | Patent Application
Our innovative sizing technology is now protected by a patent application and a utility model.
July 2025 | Development Partner in Portugal
We work with a leading development team in Portugal. This gives us access to first-class production facilities and comprehensive industry expertise to develop and manufacture our shoes at the highest quality level.
April 2025 | Funded by EXIST
Sizeless receives the EXIST grant. This support enabled us to fully dedicate ourselves to the project and welcome Louis, our shoe designer, to the team.
January 2025 | Pitches at Start-Up Competitions
We presented our concept at various startup competitions. The positive feedback and the prize money helped us take the next steps in shoe development.
June 2024 | Prototyping at DSHS Cologne
Together with the German Sport University Cologne, we further developed the idea and built the first functional prototypes.
March 2023 | On-Running Innovation Challenge
Alex and Leander met at an Open Innovation Challenge organized by On-Running. There, they presented their concept for a size-adjustable shoe directly to the founder – and won. That was the perfect starting point for everything that followed.
